Port forwarding for Netgear DG834? - is it illegal to see network cameras
Hello boys
I hope you can help ...
In attempting to set up an IP camera camera, which may be outside the internal network.
If I am the IP address of the camera settings to give forward in my router, it is easy to say, "illegal IP address"
Ideas
Camera IP address 192.168.1.188
It was configured in my Linksys router to another location without any problem, but the Netgear me confused ...
any advice would be great

I have a Netgear DG834G which is almost exactly the same.
Redirecting ports as follows:
1. Go to the Settings page, enter the following command in your browser
http://192.168.0.1
Username: admin
Password: Password (ID and password by default)
2. Go to the Services section of your router and add a personal touch.
Name and nature, to communicate something to the ports, and so TCP, UDP, or both. The connections for the camera, perhaps you will find on the Internet or in the manual of the camera, but unfortunately I do not know what could be the ports - sorry: (
3. To control the firewall router and add the services you just created in the services sector as an input or output or both, depending on what you need. Make sure that the action is the WAN and Internet users are configured to forward to all and the file is set to Never.
4. If it is done correctly, you should now have port forwarded ports that you have added.
Hope this helps:)
Hey!
What ports are trying to interest?
To guess Im not 80, as it is through internet ..... taken
If I do port forwarding on my router for my webcam I have my way of external IP address (which changes daily through my ISP's DHCP) and then the port number that you created, for example:
212.219.148.237:8080
(The two points that you specify the port that you want)
Hope this helps
