Ski resort jobs pennyslvania/ new york area? - ski resort jobs
Ok, so after my cousin graduated from high school, he got a job at a ski resort in Winter Park in Colorado and moved there and it was great. I think to do that, but I want to find a job in a ski resort in Pennsylvania or the New York region. I've never been skiing or snowboarding, but I want to know how and I think it would help if I worked in a ski resort. Could you help me please. I havent been here searching on Google but lucky. I need someone who is 18 years, housing supply set as the application, and lists of the benefits (if any). Can you help me to some sites with this information.
Even if you suggest a remedy, in which you could tell me what he did and what they like and still worked as a city.

Most gas stations do not offer accommodation PA. The vast majority of seasonal workers are local. You might be better to try to do a job in Windham or Hunter, it chassis. Ski Vermont give you a place to stay and eat. Killington, Stratton, MT. Snow, Okemo, all people renting from abroad. Sometimes homes of workers, sometimes they do.
I worked at Ski Big Bear last winter in Lackawaxen, Pa. It is a small hill near my house. I saw Elk and Assembly Technology (SNO) Mountain. Salary and bennies hours and is about the same. We had a small kitchen staff and 1 elevator that were imported. They had a home (7 of them), that the owners of rental facilities for their tourism. All other rooms. Although most TV stations to leave the property you if you are a U.S. citizen. It's really limit myself to foreign workers.
Bennies are rare. Ski Free and discounts in the cafeteria are all benefits. Once again, most ski resorts only to seasonal employees. In addition, the law authorizes the use of PA Hireand seasonal workers are paid no overtime. So, if you have $ 9 per hour running on a lift and work 45 hours per week ... A Kiss Goodbye and evaluate the surplus labor.
Every ski area will list items on its website. They should, by starting in the different stations and see what is available. There is always a phone number or e-mail to ask further questions.
If you live in the directory / AP New York metropolitan area and is reasonable, it can become a vacation home, then you should start.
I went to the West, if you want a job. My friends who work in the West not know / no housing for employees. One was a cheap shck out of Winter Park, another lives in Taos, and another Dirtbag rented a place outside of Crested Butte. All were / are cheaper places. Similarly, cheap accommodation near Killington can be found. Good luck finding cheaper elsewhere, excavations near the TV station.
Seriously, sucks the East Coast snow. The mirror is flat. His cousin was right to go to the Ski-CO or UT. You can get a job at the station and receive a free season pass and can not then find a roommate problem, and with the time of his life. Just be careful and not get to where alcohol and drugs taken. Not that I object to extracurricular activities for me, but I see sooooo many kids come here and end up with a hangover and sleep all day and not ridden.
I agree, Go West! I'm from the East as well, but I live in the Rockies 12th I will never again. Once Rocky Mountain powder skiing, it will never check, skiing in the East Coast again. Trust me. (Well, maybe Vermont, but only after a storm or something ...)
Anyway, as I said, the other person, the CO or UT is perfect. My preference is for Resorts Salt Lake City. It is about right for a lot together and also a large city (SLC) to the place where you can conduct business in the city, or as an additional task well. I do not know whether the stations should provide protection, but many houses in the area of SLC. To verify the sites home.
You can take classes as well, so do not worry. You will learn with time.
If in the area of New York, NY, probably in the north is not bad (Lake Placid?), I know not skiing very well the scene of East Coast.
However, I am biased against the Rockies, of course. :) Good luck.
